Before you request a payout

A payout can only be processed if the account is flat. Run through this before you open the request:

  • Enough time has passed since your previous payout — 14 days, or 7 days with the Weekly Payouts add-on. Before your very first payout the count runs from your first trade on the account instead. Until that time is up, the Request Payout button stays inactive
  • All open positions are closed
  • All pending and limit orders are cancelled. An order that triggers while your request is being processed can lead to a compliance review, so they have to be cancelled rather than left in place
  • Your consistency ratio is within your account's cap. If it is not, the Payouts page shows a notice and the button stays locked until you trade the ratio back inside the cap
  • The amount you are requesting is at least $100. That figure is what reaches you, after your profit split has been applied

While the request is being processed, the account goes into view-only mode: you can see everything but cannot place trades. Normal trading resumes once the payout is complete.
